Hmm, I'm not too big of a fractal fan. I tried out some programs for 3 minutes and received results that look as good as what you have imo. Now those programs might be nifty tools to create images you can then use in another image, but stand-alone fractal art seems quite useless to me...

You could go far with this, I agree with Gil, put in in some kind of setting.

As far as I am concerned, it can be finished. It has a 3D look to it and it flows. I like fractals and this is a great one. I will like to see where you take it next. Keep fractering.
