Harry Potter, pop-art

Author's Comment

we have a sixties theme in school and I came up with this picture, did it in Illustrator and then "aged" it in photoshop with a simple overlayed texture... haven't handed it in yet so please comment and suggest improvements/changes. I'm thinking of doing it in other colorcombinations but i cant get the colors to work together... theredore suggestion on colorthemes would be much appriciated too.

whats this for, what are you tyring portray about the 60s?

i like the over all feel of it but i would try adding some graidents to break up the color, nothing drastic, somthing subtile that you'll barely pick up on, and maybe a bit more detail in the eyes, it just looks like you grabbed the airbrush and went in a spiral

nothing realy, just trying to catch the look of the sixties, "pop art" and "flower power"... vivid colors, fractals maby... gonna experiment some more with it but everything I've played with after this version have been for the worse... would have wanted some magenta or the whole rainbow spectra in there. gonna post an update this afternoon if I make any progress... im stuck right now

This reminds me of something... unfortunately I can't remember what exactly it is.
