It's Red!

Author's Comment

This photograph was actually taken inside my kitchen. These flowers are sitting on our dining table. I saw them and couldn't resist not to take a picture.

Sorry I couldn't think of a creative name. Tongue

Wow, I never knew that you were really into photography. It's a great picture, and would probably look a lot better if my screen weren't dusty. Undecided Heh anyways... What kind of camera do you use? And how'd you get the background to be perfectly black?

I'll be honest, I'm not much of a photographer. Frankly, I'm not sure how I took this picture, lol. I took over 50 pictures of this flower and this is the only one I was satisfied with. The other pictures were blurry because my hand shook as I was taking the pictures.

The camera I used was a Minolta Dimage G500. It's a normal consumer camera. When I took the picture, part of the background was black from the shadows and the rest was white from my kitchen wall. I used Photoshop to make the background a bit more uniform.

WTF@jordan... dan always takes pix of himself, his $30,000 car, his shoulder, his ohyes... you get the idea. Of course he wouldn't take pix of a flower. It was bound to happen sometime.

Anyway, nice. Looks really good for a consumer camera. I have a consumer one now and so I don't really try to take any good pix. I would love to get a cannon eos digital rebel xt, though Whistle <he pwns.
