yeah, so horses are fun to draw :)

far fewer hours spent on this one, obviously, but more than you'd think, because I actually have to work quite hard to get a sketchy, effortless look ;) I think it's mostly a confidence thing, it's definitely something I'm working on. Anyway. I'm quite fond of this one. A detail of my favourite bit can be found here.

2002-3, watercolour, somewhere under 6 hours including sketching, dithering, and taking breaks.
