My first impression was one of deep thought, but now that I've spent more time looking at it I feel that you did indeed capture your feelings of deep sadness or rather, loneliness.

I'm not really certain why, but somehow I quite like this photo. Great photo and thanks for sharing a something of such a personal nature.

Are those black marks scribbled on the side of his head supposed to be visible though?
I'm thinking you might have done that in photoshop to touch it up and didn't realize how visible they are.

Try adjusting the brightness and contrast of your monitor and I think you'll see what I mean.

Yeah, I looked at it from an angle (Sometimes with my LCD that helps... Go figure) and I was actually able to make out the number 15 on the left side of his head. Please someone, tell me I'm not insane?

Nonetheless, a good photo.
