This is an image I did a long time back,
it is apart of a series, some of which was damaged or destroyed when my studio burned down. I digitally corrected this image to better represent it's original concept.
In this series I painted interiors, w/ panes that viewed a narrative, there is a lot of symbolism of course, Freudian, artistic, dream...
Columns are apart of my personal iconography and symbolizes mankind to me. the pane in this image is a city scape reflected in a window, with a buffalo walking in front of it, as he may have walked 300 years before. the pane on the other side of the rope is an african scene meant to contrast the rest of the image.
