Milk

Author's Comment

This shot was taken with the lights off at 400 ISO. I also used a shutter speed of 1/1000 in order to get the shot right, as all of it happened in a split second.

It is a bowl of milk. I dropped an object (a marble) into it, and snapped the shot the second it hit. It took several attempts to get it right, needless to say, because:

a) The lights were off.
b) I kept dropping the marble of to the side.
c) I was shooting to late.

I'm not that happy about it, but I thought it looked nice for what I put into it.

TIP: Try shooting right when it leaves your hand...nobody's reflexes are fast enough to catch anything first try. Minimizes the number of shots.
