Based on a photo, but with some improvisation of details. Scanned a couple of years ago, before I knew enough photoshop to deal with the background texture properly, so you can see the join where I stopped dodging it out. Sigh. My foolish noobie former self ;)

Painted around 2002-3, in watercolour, dunno exactly how many hours spent on it, but a lot.
